My Christmas Makeup wishlist
Second in this wish list mini series – my Christmas makeup wishlist! There is SO much I want, it was almost impossible to narrow it down. These are the prettiest and most wanted items that I realistically won’t be able to justify. That’s why I’ve selected these for my wish list.
If you haven’t already, please check out my Christmas skincare wishlist too!
My Christmas Makeup Wishlit
Hopefully this might inspire you with gift ideas for someone who is difficult to buy for but loves all things make up and beauty. Better yet – a treat for yourself (we all know you deserve it!). Let me know on in the comments and on twitter/instagram whats on your make up wish list this year!
I’d love to know 🙂
So here we go again – this time my Christmas makeup wishlist! I’m so excited!
1 - Tarte pineapple of my eye collector's set - £57
Who doesn’t want this amazing set! Its worth over £200, but its available for a fraction of the price. With three mini products included it would be perfect to carry around during the holiday party season. The palette also comes in an adorable case and even more stunning insides!
2 - Tarte Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation - £33
This foundation is a bestseller from Tarte and appeals to me because it’s hydrating even though it’s a foundation. I’ve been going off foundation in the last couple of years, especially for everyday wear, so a hydrating foundation would be perfect for me.
3 - Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder - £29
I feel like I’ve wanted this cult beauty product for the longest time, but because I’ve got my select favourite setting powder, I’ve never got round to trying it out. Translucent setting powder is an everyday must for me, and I’d love to see why everyone loves this one so much!
4 - Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - £56
When I think highlight, I immediately think of Hourglass. This gorgeous palette comes with three shades! I’ve only heard amazing reviews of their highlighter and even though I rarely do my face up fully enough to use highlight, I feel like it would really change the game for me.
5 - Anastasia Beverly Hills The Original Contour Kit - £42
Gotta love a good palette and contour. So why would you not want this palette from Anastasia BH?! The shades in the palette all look like ones which I would use, which is rare in a palette for me. I always feel like there’s at least a couple of colours which I never seem to use, and it always makes me think I’ve not got my money’s worth!
6 - La Mer The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF20 - £90
I find it hard to justify a foundation which costs £90, even from La Mer, which is why it’s on my wishlist. It’s not something I’m going to be able to afford anytime soon! I would LOVE to try it out though, and the SPF 20 feature of the product is ideal for the winter months.
7 - Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Brush Set - Volume 1 - £110
Who doesn’t love a brand new set of super soft and fluffy brushes?! I LOVE makeup brushes, and I love rose gold, so this set from Zoeva is a dream! The full set gives you all the brushes you need. I think the stippling brush and fan highlight brush would be the ones I’d be most excited to try out. I’m currently loving the fan brush from unicorn cosmetics and the stippling brush from real techniques. I’ve heard so many amazing things about Zoeva that I would love to have this starter kit and try them out for myself 🙂
8 - Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Pillow Talk - £24
Recently, I’ve been sticking to lip tints and balms for everyday use, and even for events and occasions instead of lipstick. But this gorgeous colour from Charlotte Tilbury would change the game all over again! My sister in law recently got this shade from the pillow talk range, and it is so stunning and pretty, even the packaging is beautiful!
9 - Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray - £24
Confession: I have never used a setting spray before…ever. Is that crazy?! I know some people swear by them and that a lot of them are must haves for a night out or event, but personally I’ve just never got round to testing it out. This one from urban decay is one of the best sellers on sites like feel unique, and if I’m going to try one out I feel like this is the way forward!
10 - Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup SPF 25 PA+++ - £30
Is this another cult foundation product?! First of a bunch of benefit products I’ve got coming up on this list is the Hello Flawless foundation. I’ve heard SO many amazing things about this, and although it wouldn’t be for everyday wear, it seems like the perfect product for a day out, especially because it comes with spf. I’m not usually a big fan of full coverage foundation, but this seems to be buildable, whilst still giving you that effortless and perfect look.
11 - Benefit BADgal BANG! Mascara Black - £21.50
Due to my lack of long, voluptuous lashes, mascara can be such a pain for me to find. A lot of formulas tend to be way to heavy for my little lashes and make them droop and clump no matter how much I curl them or how thinly I apply it. I’ve been loving the Dior iconic mascara this year, but this one by benefit has been on my watch list for a while now. This is mostly due to the shape and size of the brush, which looks ideal for someone like me. I need a short, sparse silicone/plastic applicator as opposed to a brush like, bristle type wand, and this shape seems like something that might work for me!
12 - Benefit Watt's Up! Soft Focus Highlighter for Face - £25.50
A stick form highlighter?! From benefit?? Yes please! I’ve only ever used powder highlight, and I want to try this new product from benefit asap! I have a lot of stuff from benefit on this list, and it might soon be my new makeup brand obsession!
13 - Benefit The POREfessional PRO Balm Primer - £27.50
I’ve been using the smashbox photo finish primer for years and years, and it’s the only primer I’ve ever really used. I’ve heard such amazing things about benefits pore-fessional and I really want to try a new primer out and see what I’ve been missing if anything!
14 - Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil - £20.50
I have to admit, I’m not the best at doing my brows, and this pencil from benefit promises to make it fast and easy! Using brow pencils is still my most go to method of doing my brows especially in my everyday work routine, so having a pencil which can quicken and improve my look is everything that I’m looking for in a brow product.
15 - Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF10 - £33.50
Last but not least, the double wear foundation from Estée Lauder. I’m not sure how I feel about this packaging. I really hate when foundation doesn’t have some sort of way to come out where you can control the volume, such as a pump or in a tube. You can buy a pump for it but why doesn’t it come with it already?! Does anyone else hate pouring type bottles?! Anyway, that being said, this product is still one of the best selling foundations out there. Although SPF 10 is too low a factor for me to consider, the long wear of it appeals to me for big days out, and I’d love to test it out!
