Its day 10 and the final part of this wishlist Blogmas mini series!
I’ve done skincare, makeup, hair and fashion, so now its time for all the rest! Some of these presents are really big things, and things that I simply cannot afford, but others are just things that I can’t justify the price for the product! If you’ve got someone you want to spoil this Christmas or if you’re the one being spoilt, I hope these items will also give you inspiration for gifts as well as what to ask for!
This is it for this mini series (sobs) so lets get going!
1. The Happiness Planner – £44
I’ve wanted the Happiness Planner for a couple of years now, ever since Jenn Im, a YouTube I’ve followed for a few years, recommended it in one of her favourites videos. The planner is designed to help you not only plan and manage your schedules & to-do lists, but also live a truly happy and fulfilled life by creating a life in alignment with who you are and embracing the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, and self-development. I already love diaries and planners, and got really into bullet journalling this year, but unfortunately with the freedom of designing your own journal from scratch, the cost is that it is very time consuming and I find that I end up just not using it at all. Having such an organised planner would be incredible for me, and I think it would help with my anxiety as well. I just can’t currently justify spending £44 on a planner with this salary!
2. Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II – £529.99
I think this might be the most popular vlogging camera out there, because of its amazingly crisp, clear and steady shots, with the ease of connecting, sharing and backing up footage over wi-fi and NFC. The video qualities are incredible, and you can film full HD vlogs with something that can fit in your pocket! It also has a 180 degrees flip screen, which makes life so much easier if you are doing personal life vlogs. The reason I want this camera in particular is because I’ve always wanted to do YouTube and would love making vlogs and tutorials, but I don’t have the guts! I don’t think it would be particularly interesting for anyone either, and I don’t want to spend so much on something that might not be worthwhile for me. However, I would also love a proper camera for taking more professional looking blog photos, so it would be a worthy investment, if only I could afford it!
I actually love baking, and I wish I had the time to put up more recipes and ideas posts for the things that I make, and also actually have more to bake in general. The classic KitchenAid has been on my wish list for years and years, and I would love to have this in my kitchen to make baking easier and hopefully motivate me to do it more. This one in Apple Cider is absolutely gorgeous, and would match any kitchen perfectly! Having this all in one baking tool would not only make cleaning easier and shield your kitchen from all the flour that inevitably flies everywhere, but also make baking (and bread kneading!) much more enjoyable. Having this would also be so much easier to make things like macarons and pavlova, as well as whipped cream and I feel like it would make a massive difference in my life if I had more time to bake!
4. De’Longhi ECP Espresso Coffee Maker, Chrome – £169.99
I’m one of those people who can’t start the day without a coffee, and because I’m too lazy to use a Moka Pot or caffetierve every morning, I end up just drinking instant coffee. This espresso maker would make a huge difference in my life because I drink so much coffee! It can even froth milk, so you can enjoy a latte or cappuccino at home, which is my favourite way to drink coffee.
5. FITBIT Charge 3 – £129.99
I’ve recommended the fitbit in my Gift guide for Him and Gift guide for Her already this blogmas, but I had to put the new Charge 3 in my wishlist! I used to do a lot more exercise and be a lot healthier in general before I got ill and had to take 8 months out. I feel like having a fitbit would help me get back into running and yoga in particular, and having a tracker would definitely help me to check how I’m doing and how my fitness is improving and recovering. My anxiety also disturbs my sleep, and understanding my sleep quality and getting helpful insights about each night, as well as being able to set a sleep schedule with bedtime reminders, would be so useful in order to actively work toward a consistent routine.
6. Fitbit Aria 2 – £199.99
Following on from the fitbit, being able to measure my weight, body fat percentage, lean mass and BMI, and have the statistics send automatically to my fitbit would be an amazing way to keep track of my body, health and fitness! While I was ill, I lost around 10 kg, and having a low BMI really affected my health. I would love to be able to keep fit and know whats up with my body and I feel like this would also encourage me to stay healthy and exercise more.
7. Makeup Organiser – £29.99
I use make up brushes a lot, but definitely not daily, and I also tend to wash them quite frequently. But if they’re not hanging upside down on my brush drying rack, then they’re face up, and collecting dust and other debris in the room! So this makeup organiser would be perfect to store my makeup brushes and sponges in while I’m not using them! I have a similar acrylic organiser for general makeup and lipsticks etc, so this would fit right in. I love that it has a lid for the brush holder, so that the bristles can remain protected from dust and knocks, so that you know they’re definitely clean before using them!
8. St Ives Dressing Table and Mirror – £1149
I’ve wanted a vanity in my room for the longest time, and would love my own space to have all my makeup and skincare in one place, and create a little area to do all my beauty and skincare routines! In the last couple of years, I’ve moved house a lot as a student, so my dream is to one day have a vanity like this one in my room!
9. Besting Photo Studio Tent – £15.99
Apart from having a proper camera, I think having a light box can help create better and more professional looking photos. This is something I want to learn and improve on, as I think my photos currently lack quality and look a bit amateur-ish and rubbish. I’d love to learn more about product photography, and I think this can be one of the main areas to improve my blog on. So this for me would be part of becoming more invested in my blog and letting myself get more absorbed in it all!
10. SiteGround Hosting – £4.95/month (£14.95/month after first year)
Finally, the thing I would love the most! A SiteGround subscription, my own domain and to own my blog! I’ve promised myself that if I can complete Blogmas, then in the New Year I will reconsider my finances and see if I can invest in myself and my blog, and take that leap into becoming self hosted. I hope that it can happen as in the past couple of months, blogging and this community has become so important to me, and quickly becoming a bigger and bigger part of my life, which I would like to take more seriously and spend even more time on.
Thank you so much for reading, and please share any items which you love and can’t live without, or anything you’ve got on your wish list! I’d love to connect with you on Twitter/Instagram too 🙂 Leave me any comments or suggestions!
See you tomorrow!
