Gift Guide for Skincare Lovers – Christmas Wishlist
It’s the big Gift Guide for Skincare Lovers – Christmas 2020 Edition! This is also my Christmas Skincare Wishlist, as everything on here would be the perfect addition to my shelfie.
Hopefully, this inspires you with gift ideas for the skincare lover in your life, or even for yourself! Let’s be real, we all deserve a treat after the year we’ve had.
Please attach an extra dose of kindness and patience to every gift this year. More than ever, it’s so important to remind those around us that we care, they are loved, and that there will be better times ahead.
Let’s get started!

I love a good round-up gift set, and this one from Space NK has it all. With three full-size items and three more minis, it allows you to trial popular products without the full investment. It has a value of £220, meaning you save £121 with this set! This set includes Paula’s Choice Peptide Booster, Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector, Sunday Riley C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum, Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, Sold de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara Mini, and Tan-Luxe Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum. The perfect gift for any skincare lover, as it has a little bit of everything!
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite makeup brands. This gift set is so luxurious, with four of her most popular items. In this set, you get the Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and the hyaluronic acid-rich Magic Cream for a deeply hydrated, dewy fresh complexion. The set also includes the Goddess Skin Clay Mask, to brighten the complexion and Wonderglow, a hydrating primer to help plump the skin for a smoother, soft-focus effect. Beautifully packaged, perfect for the luxury skincare lover.
One of my favorite brands, Fresh is a fantastic option for clean, natural skincare. I have everything in this gift set, and can personally say that this is one of my all-time favorite sets! Worth £81, this festively packaged box comes with the Soy Face Cleanser, Rose Deep Hydration Toner, Hydration Moisturiser, Rose Face Mask, and the Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment. The perfect gift for clean skincare lovers of all skin types, this really is the full package!
The tonic from Liz Earle is one of the best skincare products out there, and their cleanser is no different. Liz Earle and their Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser are famous for beautiful, radiant-looking skin with gentle, natural ingredients. This set comes with the ultimate trio of the hot cloth cleanser, gentle face exfoliator, instant boost skin tonic, and super skin moisturizer for sensitive skin. It also comes with two of their super soft and gentle cotton cloths. The perfect gift for skincare lovers who love a simple, clean, and fuss-free routine.
If you’ve been following me a while, I’ve talked about Tatcha since my September favorites post. This is an item that’s been on my wish list forever, but I can’t justify the price with my Ph.D. salary! With anti-aging properties and ingredients such as nourishing Green Tea, Rice, and Algae, it’s the perfect gift for luxury skincare lovers. All Tatcha products are oil-free, non-comedogenic, non-irritating, and non-sensitizing. Its also cruelty-free and formulated without mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA, or phthalates. It’s approved by Sephora as clean and vegan, which is so important for my conscious living and clean beauty initiative.
I’ve wanted the silk canvas primer since Jenn Im recommended it in her wedding makeup video. Like I said for the essence, Tatcha and their purity promise is one of the main reasons why I love this brand. Their cleanser and water cream are both firm favorites of mine, as I raved about in my skincare haul! I’ve heard amazing things about this primer, and I also am looking for a good protective layer in between my SPF and foundation. It’s the perfect gift for skincare and makeup lovers!
I bought this as part of a gift set for myself and instantly fell in love. The C-Firma serum is made with 15% pure L-ascorbic acid, which is a potent form of vitamin C. It also comes with 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E. All of these ingredients should help to neutralize damaging pollutants, environmental stressors, and free radicals, as well as visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots and wrinkles. The pumpkin ferment and pomegranate extracts mean that this serum enzymatically dissolves dead surface skin cells for smoother textured skin. A sodium hyaluronate cross-polymer provides intense hydration. Another brand dedicated to clean and natural ingredients, Drunk Elephant has quickly become one of my go-to brands.
Drunk Elephant says their Virgin Marula oil has been clinically proven to reverse signs of aging and offers antioxidant benefits to protect against environmental stressors and free radicals. The oil is also super absorbable and high in critical antioxidants, such as vitamin E and flavonoids, as well as omegas 6 and 9, which help moisturize, rejuvenate and nourish the skin while restoring a youthful glow. The oil is naturally antimicrobial, and also soothes skin, relieving redness and blotchiness, while granting a noticeable reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Ideal for anyone who has quite a lot of skincare products already, but looking for that little bit extra.
This has been on my wish list for the longest time, probably since early 2013, and to this day I can’t justify the price to myself. This cult product is one of the most famous products from SK-II (I love their essence and use it all the time!). The serum is made to improve the radiance of your skin by diminishing cloudiness underneath the surface, caused by UV exposure. It also prevents spots and gives skin a smoother texture. It’s recommended for all skin types, so what’s not to like!
It promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines, hydrate dry complexions, and nourish damaged skin. I’m most interested in the fact that it also promises to reduce pores, and improve the radiance of the skin. I think it might be more worthwhile and an investment for me a few years down the line in my late twenties/early thirties, but it’s definitely one I’ve got my eyes on! And will probably stay on my wish list for a while, as it’s £120 for only 30 ml.
I know I just said in the previous post £120 for 30 ml is very pricey, but this one is £110 for 15 ml, which is exactly the reason why it’s on my wish list and not in my shopping basket! Living in London, I’ve become increasingly concerned about the effect of the city pollutants on my skin, and this product has amazing clinical trial results to back it up. Their work suggests it reduces free radicals by up to 97.7% and protects skin against 98% of airborne particulate pollution. Their amazing trial results put this on my wish list and keen to try this new type of pollutant protectant for skin.
I have a few areas which are slightly pigmented, and this product seems to tick everything that I’m looking for. This serum promotes youthful clarity while helping to reduce the appearance of dark spots, discolorations, and hyperpigmentation. I think it sounds like a great post-summer treatment, although it is promoted as being an effective year-round solution. I’ve recently become a big fan of Kiehl’s so I would love to try one of their serums out!
I hope you enjoyed my Gift Guide for Skincare Lovers. Let me know what you think, and if any of these take your fancy. I hope you can treat someone special to something they love, including yourself.
Remember to be safe, protect others, and promote kindness. Look after yourself during this particularly busy and stressful time. It can be a difficult time any year, but especially this one. Text a friend you haven’t contacted in a while. Reach out to a relative that lives alone. Share compassion this season.

I LOVE DE. I’ve never gotten more compliments on my skin than when I was regularly using C-Firma and TLC Framboos.
I recently picked up a couple of gift sets from DE so I could try more from them without breaking the bank and I’m so excited!

That’s a really good idea if you can find someone! Otherwise the free shipping only starts if you buy over $250 😨😱😱😱
