In my effort to lead a more conscious lifestyle, supporting small businesses was one of the key changes I wanted to make. So I was delighted when Alexandra from DotKnits contacted me about writing a product review for her custom made scarves.

I was so excited when Alexandra from DotKnits reached out to me, as her business aligns so well with my personal beliefs. DotKnits ensures a zero-waste policy during the production of all scarves. Review of my custom DotKnits scarf
To be honest, I already had high hopes about her products before my scarf arrived, but I was blown away by the quality and care that had clearly gone into it. She was kind enough to let me be the first person to try out the custom orders. This scarf is just ME. She captured everything I was looking for in design and color scheme from just one questionnaire. To say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement.
There are so many options to choose from on the custom order questionnaire. I think I chose neutral, sophisticated, soft, and classic. You can ensure that the scarf is made to you or someone you’re gifting it to by adding extra details and design features. There’s even a section at the end to describe yourself, and I really recommend that you fill this part in! My scarf was just so perfect for my style, I can’t even describe it in words!
Not only does the scarf look and feel fantastic, but it’s also so cozy and warm to wear. There are some scarves that just don’t sit well with me, because they are either too itchy or bulky, but the DotKnits scarf was soft and warm. You can wear it easily under a coat, wrap it around, or wear it loose.
Quality
Custom made or not, each DotKnits scarf is individually crafted, meaning there are no two identical products. You can see the time and care that has gone into the scarf, and also have a clear conscious knowing that it is ethically and sustainably produced.
