February favourites

The shortest month of the year felt super long to me!

I FINALLY went self hosted and got my own domain name! I’m so happy to have taken the leap at long last, and can’t wait for the next chapter of my blogging life.

I also moved house this month, and handed in my first ever draft of a chapter in my thesis so theres been a lot happening!

Heres a monthly round up of what I’ve been loving this month. What have you guys been up to? Let me know in the comments or on social media!

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil

I started using this cult product from Kiehl’s back in the New Year, and ever since I haven’t looked back! The results definitely took about 2-3 weeks to really start showing, but since then my skin has been SO much happier in the morning. Its so much softer, retains moisture and smoothness all day, and I’ve been loving using it on areas which are prone to drying out, like the highs of my cheeks.

Pierre Bonnard Exhibit

I would highly recommend anyone in London to visit the Pierre Bonnard exhibit. If you love art or just a weekend looking around and discovering something new, this is the perfect activity! Pierre Bonnard was a French artist who painted mostly in watercolours. His work is displayed in an array of 13 rooms, starting from the beginning of his career, and even includes his final painting before his death.

The Tate Modern is also a super fun way to spend your weekend, and all the other exhibits are free! If you’re aged under 25, make sure to sign up for the Tate Collective membership (free!) to get your tickets for just Ā£5!

Trek bar

My friend introduced me to these a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve become obsessed! This protein packed flapjack is perfect if you find yourself hungry in-between meals and craving a sweet treat. Its much healthier than snacking on crisps and chocolates, and although my favourite is cocoa flavoured, it has the perfect amount. Its also dark chocolate so easily justified!

I’ve been loving the Drops language app, available on both iOS and android. They have all kinds of languages on there, from english to Japanese. I’m currently learning Spanish (Mexican) to aide me in my travels! They make learning vocab so much fun, and not only does it training you in listening, spelling and reading, but the way it teaches you forces you to learn the language as it is, instead of translating every single thing back into english. I find this such a great way to learn, and associate the new vocab with actual things rather than english words!

Russian Doll

My final favourite of the month is Russian Doll, which is a Netflix 10-part series. Its a story that, in my opinion, really makes you think. What seems to be quite a comical and weird situation becomes quite a lot deeper and self reflective, and the way they present the characters is really interesting and pulls you into the storyline with them. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for something new to watch! It also has really REALLY catchy music.

Thats it for my favourites this month! Thank you so much for joining me, and let me know what you’ve been loving this month!

See you in the next one,
