Gift guide – part 4
Its here! The big one – gift guide for her!
For me, I always have SO many gift ideas for the women in my life. Mom, friends, grandma etc. I wanted to share some things I’ve gotten and would be great gifts in my opinion.
Please leave any comments or suggestions down below or on Twitter/Instagram, I’d love to know what you think and what you think make great gifts! Theres always so many gifts to give around this time, and there are just too many options. Here are my top 20 gift ideas for her!
Lets get started!
1. BEAUTYBLENDER Blender’s Delight – £34
Ever since I got my very first beautyBlender, I have not looked back or found anything else that comes even close to being anywhere near as good. So how perfect is this little gift set for anyone like me that loves the beautyBlender?! This kit comes with two shades of the original sized blender, including the original hot pink. It also comes with two mini blender cleansers, which I’ve been loving as I talked about before in my huge skincare and makeup haul. The blender defender is also in this little set, which will keep your blender safe while travelling and carrying it around. It comes in such pretty packaging as well, and would be an ideal gift for any beauty lovers.
2. TATCHA The Starter Ritual Set – $59 (USD)
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know how much I’ve been loving Tatcha this year. I’ve talked about it so much, in my recent skincare and makeup haul and September favourites posts. I’ve even been raving about it in my first Blogmas wish list post! So its no surprise really that this gorgeous starter set is on my list of gift ideas. This is a two week introduction, which will help to control excess oils from building up, as well as preserving the natural moisture of the skin, for a balanced complexion. I personally am in LOVE with the water cream, and the fact that this set includes it just makes it even better!
3. UGG Scuffette II Sheepskin Slippers – £80
A little luxury for the home, these super soft and comfy slippers are so pretty, and I love it in this light pink shade. Having warm feet is a must during the cold winter months, and these little slippers from UGG have the luxury touch as well. You can even wear these outside (maybe just to the garden!) because they have a cork infused rubber outsole!
4. Fitbit Charge 2 – £84.99
My partner and I got his parents matching fitbits for Christmas last year, and it has been a great present. Its a great motivator for anyone who is hoping to get fit in the New Year, or someone who already loves exercise and is super active! It keeps track of your heart rate continuously, and can automatically track different exercises and display real-time statistics. This would be such a great gift for anyone, and I also talked about it in my Gift guide for Him earlier in this series of Blogmas!
5. Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 – £64.99
I bought this for my mom last Christmas, and she was so thrilled with it! The mini camera delivers instant photos, and is super fun and different from the usual selfies and group pics on your phone. It even comes with a selfie mirror, and has a close-up lens and a ‘high key’ mode so you can take brighter pictures, with a softer tone which is perfect for portraits!
6. John Lewis Star Foil Fleece Onesie – £35
Cosy winter nights in require cosy, soft and warm clothing! This onesie has a zip front, and is a super relaxed fit, and is made of super soft fleece. This pattern is so cute as well, and would be the perfect relaxing night in, watching a holiday film!
I have loved the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic for absolutely ages, and have raved about it in multiple posts now (I think it all kicks off in my July Favourites)! This set from Liz Earle includes the cult favourite Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Superskin Moisturiser and the Superskin Eye Cream. Its a (stripped back but) full skincare routine, and is everything you need for radiant, healthy looking skin. It also comes with 2 pure cotton cloths to use with the Hot Cloth Cleanser, and is ideal for any skincare lover, but also anyone who has recently started getting into skincare.
8. DRUNK ELEPHANT The Littles Kit – £71
I pretty much want EVERYTHING from Drunk Elephant, and wrote about some of my most wanted earlier in the Blogmas wishlist series (Christmas Wishlist – Skincare). This littles kit is what dreams are made of! It comes in a super cute reusable travel bag, and includes Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser (30ml), Lala Retro Whipped Cream (15ml), B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (8ml), T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum (8ml), C-Firma Day Serum (8ml), Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil (8ml) and Shaba Complex Eye Serum (5ml). It would be the ideal gift for anyone who’s been wanting these iconic products, so they can try out their most famous items, or for any Drunk Elephant fan who needs a cute and perfect selection of skincare products for their next trip.
9. DRUNK ELEPHANT Inspector Drunk Kit – £82
Another amazing set from Drunk Elephant is their Inspector Drunk Night Kit. It includes the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum (30ml), Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser (30ml), Lala Retro Whipped Cream (15ml), B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (8ml) and the C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream (5ml). I love the unique concept behind this kit, as it identifies six common suspicious ingredients that can irritate skin during and after use. These ingredients are fragrance and dyes, SLS, silicones, chemical sunscreens, alcohol and essential oils. This set, which is inspired by Cluedo, helps to identify and banish such ingredients from their regular regime and to rejuvenate their skin with the nourishing benefits of the Drunk Elephant range.
10. La Mer Radiance Recharge Collection – £120
Another product which I talked about in my Christmas skincare wishlist is the La Mer moisturising soft cream. This set contains a 30 ml version of this much loved cream, as well as a 5 ml eye concentrate. This kit helps to illuminate the skin and delicate undereyes by softening, renewing and smoothening, while diminishing the appearance of dark circles and smooth the look of lines.
11. Saguaro Glasses – £47.95
These glasses, which stack up with different shapes that features a Saguaro cactus once its piled up is just so much fun! It makes for a cute way to have glasses on a table while having any friends or guests around the home, and is a two-in-one useful and decorative product. I love this idea and I think its so cute! It comes with 6 glasses, so having a couple around for a party would be ideal, but also having them in your kitchen and taking one off for daily use is also a fun and decorative way to put away your cups.
12. Travel Scratch World Map – £29.95
Have you got a travel lover in your life? I LOVE this gorgeous rose gold travel map, where you can scratch off all the places that you’ve been to, and reveals pastel colours of the countries underneath. This is such a gorgeous decorative piece, especially if you have someone in your life who enjoys travelling and visiting exciting new places.
13. POWER PETS Cat Charger – £14.95
A portable charger has become more and more a daily necessity to carry around, so why not have a super cute animal one! This design is from Japan, and each one has a power charge of 2600 mAh. This is not only a super adorable gift, but a useful one too! They have various different animals, but I personally love the cat design.
14. CAPUGCCINO Travel Mug – £8.95
I got this as a secret santa gift for a friend, and she loved it! The mug is a great quality, with a silicone lid on it so you can carry it around while on the go. You could take it on your commute, or leave it in the office, and is a perfect little gift for the pug (or dogs in general) lovers in your life! Its also a cute gift for someone in the office or as I did for a secret santa, as travel mugs become more and more of a thing, with even Starbucks now giving you a discount for bringing your own mug.
I bought myself this diary a couple of years ago, and I have absolutely loved it. It has 380 pages, but are all blank so you can start at any point in the year or use any page for any random day. The pages come with a to do list and a daily timeline, so you can put in schedules and appointments you may have that day. It even has a little doodle section! Its so useful, and a great gift for anyone who loves staying organised, or for someone who has a lot going on!
16. NORI CAT Kawaii Friends Mug – £9.95
You can never have too many mugs, especially if they are this adorable! This is another Japanese pop culture inspired design, and is quite a generously sized mug. Again, it comes in various different animal designs, but this cat one is my favourite!
17. Stay Hot Keep Cold Bottle – £35
I’ve been a big fan of gifting useful and green products, and I love the idea of giving a really nice water bottle to someone. This double walled stainless steel bottle keeps your water cold for 24 hours and hot for 9 hours. Its 580 ml, which is just a little bit larger than your standard plastic water bottle, and you can use it all year round for both hot and cold drinks. This bottle from lulu lemon is also super cute and sparkly, and this colour is my favourite, but there are other options available too.
18. Meditation Journal – £18
Taking care of yourself and your mental health is so important, and it can be something that people don’t focus on, especially during busy periods like Christmas and the New Year. This journal guides you through 108 days of mindful practices, and is ideal to use for clearing your mind before meditating, or to end your meditation session on an inspiring note.
I’ve had a foldaway overnight bag from Cath Kidston for years and years, and I can’t stress how useful it is. You can pack it flat and tuck it away when its not in use, but it opens up into a super useful bag which fits surprisingly large volumes! Its the perfect size for a weekend trip, or overnight stay somewhere, and would be such a great gift which would last years and years.
I’ve been wanting everything from the Cath Kidston Alpacas collection ever since it came out, and if you have someone in your life who loves alpacas, how perfect is this flannel PJ set?! Its so soft and cosy as its made from super soft brushed cotton, and the drawstring waist bottoms make it comfy, but they even come with pockets!
I really hope these items give you some inspiration or are what you are looking for, and that you enjoyed reading! As always, please let me know what you think and what you would’ve added to this list! I’d love to know if you do use any of these and what your thoughts are.
See you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 10!
I can’t believe how quickly this month is going!
